It is the flagship of the Upper Austrian Danube region, which extends from Passau, 180 km downstream, to the small village of Grein. Starting from the steep bank slopes at ‘Donauengtal’, up to the wild and romantic shores in ‘Strudengau‘. In the middle of it all lies Linz. The UNESCO City of media arts is a vibrant melting pot of cultural hotspots lined up right next to the Danube. Coincidence? We don’t think so! Daily ferry service between Ottensheim & Linz from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from June to September:
Departures from Ottensheim: every hour; departures from Linz/Urfahr: 20 minutes past the hour
In July and August, service begins as early as 9:00 a.m.
